Dr. Louise S. Clemmensen will as the PDZnet project manager act as a central integrator, coordinating and organizing all the network activities. She will facilitate major synergistic opportunities between the PDZnet partners, including exchanges and cooperation between the 14 PhD fellows. In addition, she is co-supervising the 4 fellows associated with the University of Copenhagen and Novo Nordisk.

Meet the Fellows

We train 14 PhD fellows to become independent, creative and innovative scientist by providing cutting-edge knowledge, a diverse and comprehensive technology platform, and transferable skills training making the young researchers attractive candidates for research positions in academia or industry.

Meet the partners

The 14 PDZnet partners are committed to create an outstanding training program for PhD fellows to elucidate the mechanisms of PDZ-mediated protein signaling pathways and provide background for the development of new therapeutic candidates for cancer and neurological diseases.

In four interdisciplinary and complementary research work packages the PDZnet network will advance the understanding of PDZ domain proteins as molecular hubs for cell signaling and as therapeutic targets for treating cancer and neurological diseases.
