PDZnet is a European Training Network (ETN) where next-generation researchers will advance our understanding of the cellular signaling pathways and therapeutic potential of proteins comprising PDZ domains in healthy and pathological conditions such as cancer and neurological diseases.

PDZ domain mediated interactions of syntenin with the cell membrane and Frizzled 7 receptor.

The Network

The PDZnet network includes 11 academic research groups and 3 industrial partners distributed across 6 European countries (Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Sweden). The network provides an international and multidisciplinary PhD training platform for 14 next-generation researchers (PhD students).

Meet the Partners

The 14 PDZnet partners are committed to create an outstanding training program for PhD fellows to elucidate the mechanisms of PDZ-mediated protein signaling pathways and provide background for the development of new therapeutic candidates for cancer and neurological diseases.

Open positions

We train PhD fellows to become independent, creative and innovative scientist by providing cutting-edge knowledge, a diverse and comprehensive technology platform, and transferable skills training making the young researchers attractive candidates for research positions in academia or industry.
